Every now and then, I come across things on random tromps through the intarweb... I can't remember what I was searching for this time, but I found some gems:
- http://vico.kleinplanet.de/index.html this guy's site is a shade old, but the config files and screenshots are up to date - the fonts section is really cool
- http://www.readfreenews.net/ free NNTP server... this get's added to my list
- http://www.ping.uio.no/~ay/fonts/fonts.shtml nice console fonts, found via the first link
I also came across a post somewhere detailing "shopt -s checkwinsize" for bash, which is extra awesome as it forces bash to recheck the column size after every command, preventing those silly line wrapping issues.
